Sara Orozco is an independent consultant with over 20 years of experience in the non-profit sector and works primarily in the areas of
executive coaching, leadership development, facilitation and training, organizational transitions, conflict resolution, change management, and diversity training. Her clients have
included ¿Oíste? The Trustees of Reservations, La Alianza Hispana, Health Promotion Affiliates, Nuestra Comunidad, Allston-Brighton CDC, Urban Edge, and American Friends Service Committee
- Middle East Region.
In 2009, Sara was selected to be one of four executive coaches to work as a consultant at Third Sector New England as part of their Governance
Leadership Program. Her role as an executive coach was to support a small group of Board Chairs in identifying and addressing a specific performance challenge, helping them define desired
outcomes and measures of success within the context of their organization and their community. Sara is relatively new to NeighborWorks, having joined its Excellence in Governance Program as a Leadership Team Coach in 2015.
As a consultant, Sara is always willing to share her knowledge, insights, tools, and resources with others, especially in working with diverse
client populations and organizations. She is energized by a mission-driven orientation and wants to support organizations that make a positive difference in the lives of the people
they serve. Her philosophy is to empower and inspire people to do their personal best and to hold them accountable for working towards their goals. She takes great personal satisfaction
in making sense of difficult situations, developing shared solutions, and building a renewed sense of confidence in others.
