Sara maintains a private practice in Needham Massachusetts, specializing in adolescents, adults, and couples. She has extensive experience working on relationship, parenting, and co-parenting issues, as well as experience working with illness, grief, and loss.
Sara earned her Ph.D. in psychology at Georgia State University in 1993 and completed her post-doctoral training at The Scripps Research
Institute in La Jolla, CA. before accepting an academic appointment at Harvard Medical School. Since then she has worked in numerous clinical settings including the Mind/Body Medical
Institute, the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, McLean Hospital, and Children's Hospital in Boston.
A sought after speaker and trainer, Sara has been conducting corporate seminars and workshops for the past fifteen years on topics ranging from
"Managing Change" to "Making the Most of Generational Differences at Work." She has held adjunct faculty appointments at various colleges and universities including Boston
College, Boston University and Emmanuel College.
Sara has numerous publications in peer-reviewed scientific journals and is currently working on a book on workplace relationships. She is also
fluent in Spanish.
